Psychological / Psychometric Assessment
Assessment forms an important foundation of intervention planning at Autism Alliance. Our psychological and psychometric assessment services are aimed at developing a structured understanding of the child’s strengths, needs, and developmental priorities.
Assessment may include exploration of developmental functioning, cognitive processes, behavioral patterns, adaptive skills, learning-related concerns, and psychological formulation where relevant. The emphasis is on understanding the child holistically rather than reducing the child to isolated test scores.
Assessment processes may contribute to:
- Understanding developmental strengths and challenges
- Identifying support needs and intervention priorities
- Goal planning and individualized programming
- School guidance and recommendations where relevant
- Progress monitoring and periodic review
- Functional and behavioral formulation
At Autism Alliance, assessment is viewed not merely as diagnostic exercise, but as a meaningful tool to inform thoughtful intervention planning.
